Our local Trussell Trust Foodbank has become a 'Weapon of Choice' for members of the congregation concerned about their local community. Every day people go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to recieving an unexpected bill while on a low income.
Our local Trussell Trust foodbank provides a minimum of three days emergency food and support to local people experiencing a crisis. Some of this food (in tins or Longlife - keeps better!) is gifted by local church congregations.
